Urgent Hiring For Private Equity Analyst- Gurugram - NTT DATA Business Solutions Private Limited

 

Position Overview: The Private Equity Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day fund and partnership accounting activities, as well as handling related administrative tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. The analyst will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient fund operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Reconciliation and Discrepancy Resolution:

   • Review and/or prepare daily position and cash reconciliations.

   • Conduct research and resolve any discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.

2. Journal Entries and General Ledger:

   • Prepare and process journal entries to maintain the general ledger.

   • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.

3. Capital Calls and Distribution Allocation:

   • Prepare capital calls and distribution allocation schedules.

   • Maintain records of capital statements and partners' capital allocations.

4. Financial Work Papers and Portfolio Schedules:

   • Prepare financial work papers, including portfolio schedules and capital statements.

   • Analyze partners' capital allocations and ensure accuracy of financial data.

5. Cash Movement Monitoring:

   • Process and monitor cash movement in both USD and non-USD currencies.

   • Ensure proper documentation and recording of cash transactions.

6. Review and Team Supervision:

   • Review the work of Junior Associates and offshore teams.

   • Provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work output.

7. Client Correspondence:

   • Prepare various client correspondence and handle ad hoc requests.

   • Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide necessary information.

8. Audit Support:

   • Interact with internal and external auditors, providing requested information and addressing inquiries.

   • Assist in audit preparations and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

9. Special Projects:

   • Participate in special client or internal projects as assigned.

   • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting or a related field.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.

• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

• Experience with Investran or other investment/portfolio accounting platforms is a plus.

• Specific knowledge and experience in the Private Equity industry preferred.

• Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet client deliverables.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
